Exporting your VoodooPad pages.
VoodooPad has support for exporting your pages in a variety of formats:
HTML. Save your pages as HTML documents, retaining links, images, and some style attributes. You can even customize the look and feel of your pages by editing a special page in your document called "vphtmltemplate". Find out more on the HTML Templates page.
iPod Notes (3rd generation iPods only). This option will export your VoodooPad pages to your ipod, keeping page links working. After you export and disconnect your iPod, use the iPod menu and navigate to to Extras->Notes and you will see your pages in there. Pick a page and scroll around using the iPod wheel. When you come to a link in the page, click the middle iPod button and it will take you to that page. It's a wiki on the go!
iPod Contacts. This option is good for the 1st and 2nd generation iPods. After exporting your pages, you can navigate to Extras->Contacts in your iPod and view the contents of your pages.
Microsoft Word™. Available for Mac OS X 10.3+ only. Open up a single page in VoodooPad and choose "Save Page as Word..." menu option from the File menu. You can then open up the file in Microsoft Word, even on Windows!
RTFD (Rich Text Format). A file format that will retain the full fidelity of your VoodooPad pages. Graphics, font styling, everything!
XML. You can save your document as a XML file. VoodooPad can then also import back in that XML file. You can use it to transfer data from or to other applications- and since it stores more information than just the page contents, this might be more convenient for you than the other options.
Plain text. You can also export all your pages as plain text files. ASCII, the one format just about everything understands.
